Hi Adam

It does not matter about the speed of the scanners. What ever the speed of the scanners are this interface will connect the laser to the PC and pass the signals. It is the interface and the program regardless of being 10K,20 or 40K, all can be used.
I am sure you could control more than one laser if you get those junction boxes that distribute the signal.
Like one in and four out. Look on the internet. I have seen for printers. But many lasers have their link connections at the back of them, one can work as the master and others as the slave.
